Jake and his team

Jake and his team are very knowledgeable and helpful. They helped with everything we needed and a fast service with showing us the CAD drawing within 10 minutes of deciding what we wanted. Can’t thank the team at Howdens enough.

At this time of visit I was looking at flooring.

At this time of visit I was looking at the flooring in the warehouse when there was music being played with Explicit and vulgar language. I was shocked that such language was blaring out loud in a place that customers attend. I ended up leaving without purchase.

Some of the worst customer service I've experienced

The quality of the units is good, so I won't go lower than this. But. The customer service has been appalling. Was promised calls back from managers multiple times but never heard from them. We had errors with our design, the products delivered, our worktop was missold. Couldn't seem to decide if they were a "trade only" organisation and couldn't speak to me, or "customer facing" and couldn't speak to my fitter. When I spoke to our designer about the issues she was rude and dismissive and on a number of occasions outright lied about the errors. They had opportunities to make this right (we understand mistakes happen but the way we were talked to was atrocious). They made an upgrade to our worktop as it was the only way to make the design they provided work, and then tried to tell us that the worktop upgrade was our discount for the inconvenience. Steer clear. Made what should have been a really lovely home transformation into a very stressful experience and we are left with incorrect products. Would love to actually see the complaints procedure because my complaint was dealt with in a totally unacceptable manner.

Sorted me out with a kitchen sink to replace an old one that was imperial (inches) with a metric one. My customer was very happy to see the back of their cracked and leaking sink and have a shiny S/Steel one

Overall excellent kitchen design and delivery

Designing and buying a kitchen was proving to be a challenge until we visited Howdens in Aldermaston. They have made the whole process an enjoyable experience, professional and caring about ensuring we got the kitchen we actually wanted. As with all of these things we had one slight hiccup which was dealt with excellently. Overall a top rate service from design to delivery. Highly recommended.

Came in today to the Howdens at…

Came in today to the Howdens at aldermaston to get some advice on swapping the fronts on my kitchen spoke to a chap on the counter and he gave me the best advice and was very knowledgable of the products. I even had a fresh coffee made for me while we was having chat by a lovely lady in the depot now that’s what I call customer service everyone was very polite and said hello making me feel very welcome. I will be back to sort out my internal doors very soon.

Broke promise of delivery date coming a…

Broke promise of delivery date coming a week after order rather than 4 days as promised. Bought same product in September which was dearer than quote. When re ordered they put up the price by 16% . Depot say the can’t do anything. Know not to trust them in future
