Great Value Kitchen
Great products both design and durability wise. Would have been 5 star if the designing was done correctly and efficiently in the first place and correct products were sent. Store team was helpful to iron out the issues though

UPDATE@@@PERSONALLY I WOULD JUST AVOID HOWDENS ALTOGETHER AS THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IS SHOCKING after being totally fobbed off by Howdens first time of asking . the floor seemed to come adrift in the top corner of the kitchen at first.it then followed at other places and was starting to become very dangerous as it had a sharp edges ,with kids in and outs through the kitchen this became a accident waiting to happen The builder and I was getting absolutely no where with Howdens even wanting to come out so some extra sillicon was put to try and get it more stable unto we could sort longterm My flooring guy put some extra silicon around the edge so hopefully it would hold up better. After this review went live the first time Howdens contacted me from head office and asked me to provide more details and then passed it back to local branch .the assistant manger rang me and eventually offered an independent flooring inspector who they would pay for to visit and they would be in touch soon I agreed But told him they will no doubt pick up a small thing and blame that .i didn’t hear anything for about 2 weeks and yet again had to chase Howdens at Ashford to chase. Got a phone call the following day with a appointment in a weeks time The guy eventually visited over 3 weeks after Howdens had agreed to send someone He looked at it and then said he would send his report in I showed him my large selection on LVT product samples that we had now collected and demonstrated the poor quality of Howdens compared to every other one in the locking system It was also apparent that the two samples I had from Howdens was bowed when they was all placed on the worktop He pointed out that the subfloor looks level but highlighted some of the panels was bowing Well the report has now dropped and is saying the floor is bowing due to silicon in some areas and not correct gap for expansion so surprise surprise it’s gone down as a installation defect Well the floor area that was not had any sillicon or pinch points is also doing the exact same 😡 The only other point of note is we had two off cuts un known to us at the initial time which was left by the builder in the back of our kitchen cupboard. We had mentioned that the lounge could be our next product and he had left a couple of off cuts in the cupboard so we could match if needed as we was going down the Glue down option which Howdens didn’t do. We found them after he told us where they were so we could take the samples to the various shops etc to try to get as close as we could for our lounge On closer inspection before the independent guy came these two panels were starting to bow and didn’t sit flush so unlocking Now they had only been left in the back of the cupboard in the kitchen and then moved into our lounge so we could offer up to samples and take to shop visits to try to match I pointed this out to the independent guy who said”they must have been stored somewhere with heat” No they was in the Cupboard and then moved to lounge I replied but they have done the same as what you are pointing out on the kitchen floor now He Again totally dismissed that the product could potentially be at fault Obviously they was put by the installer wrong in the cupboard no doubt I must also be a liar as the two samples must have been left somewhere else Lots of other people have had same issues by what I have read and all was told the same thing Lesson learned just avoid Howdens as they will always wriggle out of it They didn’t want to know at first and if a problem arise they just fob you off firstly and just put it all back on the installer I am awaiting what they will say about the two samples we have that are also bowing Was happy with the kitchen as such and little to complain about but sadly due to the flooring being so poor go elsewhere

Howdens Ashford... we love you!
Not a day goes by without one of our team visiting or contacting Howdens Ashford! You stock so many of the items we need on a day to day basis which makes it easy for us to supply a quick turn around on our works. All the staff are really helpful and always will to help find the correct product for us. When it comes to our kitchen refurbs, Maggie Gates is a star! She becomes part of my team and I couldn't do them without her.

First time order.
Good first order experience for me. Edward, your customer contact, was very helpful and positive and helped us order the correct items. Delivery was very good, my order came when predicted and the driver was very helpful with the unloading. All the items supplied were correct and damage free. A good job all round by your people. Thank you.

He was very professional and took her time to talk me through some of the products that I was looking for. Anybody going to the shop in Ashford? Highly recommend to talk to Catalin

Eddie’s the man!
After visiting Howdens at Ashford south branch and having a really bad experience with the useless staff, I then went to Howdens in Cobbs Wood Ashford and Eddie greated me on arrival, he was so helpful and went above and beyond to get all the items I needed, I’ve since been back again and Eddie was so polite and helpful yet again, thank you so much!
