Very good service but the delivery could be better

The in store people were very helpful and all went very smoothly. Design was done on time and materials were also arranged on time without issue. Quality of material as usual quite good. It should have been a five star if I did not had this poor experience from the delivery team. The delivery team arranged by Howden was not very helpful. They charged £120 for delivery of four doors. However the person called and said they will leave those at curb side. Would not deliver to the home which is just two flight of stairs. The delivery distance was about two miles so expected the item to deliver to home not curb-side. It was the tenants who had to come and help get those doors in. I wish the delivery team understands that not all circumstances are same and help out as necessary making the delivery charge worth paying.

Exceptional Service

Recently visited Howdens store in Beckton to purchase my new kitchen and worktop. I was served by Zahraa who was great throughout the whole process. Together with Mike the store manager they gave me a great deal. Durning the process of fitting the worktop we encountered an issue where the worktop had to be replaced. This caused a delay to the completion. What made the situation less stressful was the professionalism and exceptional service that was provided by Mike. He really did go above and beyond. He personally ensured that there was no issues second time round. Mike is a credit to the brand/Company. Absolutely amazing service. I will definitely recommend anyone that is looking for a new kitchen that wants a wide choice of designs, competitive prices and exceptional service to visit Mike and the Beckton Howdens Team.
