Really delighted with the bespoke kitchen
Really delighted with our bespoke kitchen, we knew what we wanted to achieve and didn’t want an “off the peg” kitchen as we were working with a carpenter to make a unique impact. James at Bridgwater was our initial point of contact and stayed with us until completion, which meant consistency with the project. He visited the site to understand what we were looking for, worked with us to achieve the best result and made some really great commercial recommendations. James was very flexible in meeting our timings which like any build were ever moving and I’m sure at times frustrating! The depot staff were fantastic, deliveries were timely and staff incredibly helpful. Any niggles during the project were ironed out professionally and with speed. Thanks to James, Shaun and the team at Bridgwater.

Excellent service from Howdens Bridgwater
We had an excellent experience with Howdens Bridgwater for our new kitchen. Ella came out for the home design visit and supported with the initial ideas, she got the potential images to us really quickly, and we were able to book a visit to the depot at a time that worked for us. On our visit to the depot (again with Ella) we were able to see the colours and designs in person which helped us come up with a kitchen that we adore! During fitting, any issues that came up were sorted directly by the builders and Howdens with no quibble. Thank you to Ella and the Howdens Bridgwater team!

Can’t design, don’t design, take no responsibility for design or anything else!!!
If I could rate a zero I would! The most appalling customer service I have ever received in my life! And I’d previously rated them a 5 for my kitchen so am certainly not a serial complainer! My Fitted wardrobes - I made enquiry and was asked to send measurements, never once was I asked for height & because I have a vaulted ceiling never questioned this as a concern as knew there was enough room!!! Well believe me it’s imperative!!! What they fail to ever mention & nor does their images or design with measurements is what they supply has to be completely built up, the experienced carpenters I used will never use howdens wardrobe products again. It is simply chipboard in boxes as every single item needs cutting as no backing like kitchen cupboards so no adjustment as no Wall is true or floor level in any house! My advice to anyone would be if you want a fitted wardrobe steer clear, get a carpenter to make it bespoke it will take less time & will cost less in total. Worst is still to come! I called & spoke to the manager about my disappointment & was spoke to in the most rude & condescending manner & promised a call back after speaking to those involved, he never bothered! Extra bits of wood were promised, my carpenters arrived for extra days a week later & chased the items to be told sorry they haven’t come in!! No contact or warning, we eventually got them but a job that should have took 2 days max with 2 guys working took 4 full days costing me an extra £1,100 in labour, then to top it all off the design they provided I now learn they don’t design it’s me actually who does this, is not functional!! the doors are too wide with the internal structure meaning I can’t fully access my full height hanging section from only one side reducing my capacity & it’s all my fault as they don’t design even though they call their staff designers 🤷♀️even customer services use every possible get out like when fitters open an account they sign to say they are responsible for the design not howdens!! In addition to my other complaints I highlighted the fact that I requested the wardrobes were placed on my partners account but delivered to my address & this was carried out, he wasn’t called at all to check this was ok. (I’d obviously checked with him) but the account is with howdens they should confirm! I mentioned this to the customer services to raise awareness surrounding protecting their customers & fraud to be treated with utter contempt! Where I could think they are insinuating I wouldn’t pay my bill!!! Even though very disappointed I have paid my bill in full!!! I received a small gesture of good will off the bill which is a faction of the extra costs I incurred, upset & inconvenience but they won’t take any responsibility!! As they don’t design!!! so other than take your money, be rude, belittling & blame everyone else, plus claim they call account holders to confirm orders placed to their accounts (even though it turned out the telephone number they held was incorrect) I’m not sure what the staff do 🤷♀️🤷♀️ Please be warned if you have a trade account!!!
