Never again !! Before we used Howdens we were warned…

Before we used Howdens we were warned by 2 friends not to as they had awful experiences- should have listened. We think the actual kitchens are OK but all let down by terrible service by people who don't know what they are doing ! Took us to court but they backed down when we bothered to put in a defense - bullying & scare tactics didn't work & we stood our ground - the company needs to look at it's customer care as there wasn't any with us , just lies & arrogance - make sure you get things in writing to cover yourself , do not rely on verbal conversations!!

Always helpful

The guys at Howdens in Chichester are always so helpful. I'm not a big business customer that has a large account - just an individual that fits one kitchen a year with a few odd jobs but I am always treated as though I am a big spender! Thank you!

Product Great! Chichester Howdens Staff Great! Head Office Useless!

The Flooring and all accessories are great and the Howdens workers are great! But the people at head office need to engage there brains as I had ordered for this project, it was selected and put in the racks for collection and then my account was closed? I couldn't collect it, Pay for it and they didn't have anymore in stock to sell me as it was all sitting in the rack in my name for an account that had been closed!!!! 11/02/2023

Chichester Howdens

I hope this reaches the relevant depot. I stopped using Howdens a few years ago after some bad experiences however I recently decided to give them another go and what a difference! I visited the Chichester depot last week and had a warm welcome from the young man behind the counter (I can't remember his name but he wore a howdens coat) He was so helpful and polite. I then went through to the warehouse to collect my order and introduced myself to a lad there called either Daniel or David (he also wore a howdens coat) he got my items together quickly and insisted on loading them into my car himself after I told him I had a bad back. I told him about my bad experiences before and he credited the vast improvement to a new management team and his colleagues, and I certainly agree with him! It was by far the best service I have received out of all the suppliers I use. I will certainly be back to using Howdens again soon!
