Good product I used many times. Helpful staff as always. Howdens should improve the IT system. If two customer accounts are from the same post code there is confusion and delay

1st time customer but we’ll readily use again
I’m posting this review as my husband doesn’t have an Trustpilot account. Although he’s in the trade, this was his first Howdens kitchen instal. He was very happy with the quality of the kitchen purchased, and even happier with the price. Stand out for him though was the customer service at the Hainult branch - approachable and knowledgeable. He wanted me to include a big thanks to Wendy in particular. She has an excellent appreciation of the products and was particularly helpful in helping him to overcome some design obstacles. He was very grateful to her.

We bought a kitchen base unit and 2…
We bought a kitchen base unit and 2 wall units. The wall units were easy to assemble, but the 1 m base unit required a small modification as the dowel provided was in the hole where a screw was supposed to be and I couldn't pull it out to put in the correct hole. There were also not enough of the correct screws provided to put on the feet.

Unbelievable service.

Had to go to the Hainault store with a problem. The staff there, especially Lisa were extremely helpful, polite and friendly and bent over backwards to help me solve my issue. Highly recommend this store as felt treated like a valued customer. Thanks so much . Sue Brewer

Not only they finished the job to a very high standard, Joe and his team, were friendly, punctual and always informed us of next steps what to expect. Property refurbishment
I have a two bed flat which needed total refurbishment. I didn't know where to start, and I visited the Howdens showroom to see if they could recommend someone. Howdens carried out the survey and they gave me the name of Joe Sharpe, who turned out to be a very skilled joiner. Joe took out the old kitchen, screeded, then fitted the new kitchen single handedly, he also laid vinyl and wood flooring throughout the flat and replaced the bedroom doors and door furniture. We decided to move the kitchen doorway to create more space and Joe built the new door frame and fitted the new fire door very precisely. I chose the Greenwich units with Lamona fitted appliances which worked very well in making the most of the space. The project took longer than I had hoped, about 3 months, but at the end it all looked very good and I was happy with the results.

After making my order I was given the…
After making my order I was given the wrong doors on three occasions. I had to visit two other branches to pick up pieces my branch claimed no to have but ultimately ended up going back to my branch for the missing pieces which they had all along. My contact was new and said she did not understand the system. I believe this may have been a one off situation but I had to pay a fitter for an extra day and a half plus the fuel spend.

My oven window blew out and I can't…
My oven window blew out and I can't find a contact number. I'll post a picture of my experience. My grandkids were visiting as well so a horrible experience. Howdens have promptly contacted me and are going to replace the oven. They were very efficient in replying and resolving the problem.
