Always helpful

Always helpful. However, a little lacking in full product knowledge. I was sold fridge/freezer vents and plinth board bottom seal strips that simply would not fit. Clearly intended for 16mm board whereas the board supplied to me (full wrap) is 18mm. Had to return the strip and router shape the board to accept the vents. Time is money! Surely, staff should be aware of the issue.

Delivery was good and the driver was…

Delivery was good and the driver was very efficient and helpful. The derail in the planning was excellent following my drawings, any mistakes on the drawings were mine. 1 item was incorrect for the corner unit which was exchanged when I returned it the following day. The client was very pleased with the end result and the Halifax branch has the finished photos.

Very Happy!

I recently purchased a new composite door and some engineered oak flooring from Howdens in Halifax. Poor customer care

I used Howdens for a kitchen for a bungalow.This was recommended by my builder. My experience from the sales team has been very unsatisfactory and to be honest poor. I was supposed to get a site visit to discuss and measure my kitchen, the sales person turned up without booking an appointment measured up without any discussion. I then spent a whole morning going through a cad design got two alternatives went away to decide on which one telephoned backed placed order only for them to send the opposite and wrong flooring,this happened before Xmas there are items missing from my kitchen units that still haven’t been supplied and the manager was supposed to be coming out to site several times but didn’t show up. My builder has spent many hours but keeps being fobbed off.The last straw was when they outright lied saying the kitchen I had ordered couldn’t have the internal storage fittings because it is discontinued.This is a lie as it is the door fronts that are discontinued. I don’t have any issues with quality of my kitchen, just the lack of professionalism and customer care from this stores sales and management team.

New Kitchen

Very happy with the process of designing and delivery of the kitchen. Very attentive staff and nothing was too much trouble. Very happy with the design from Faron, he was very knowledgable and brought his ideas and mine together to create a great design. The one issue I did have though was the amount of damaged items that arrived. I noticed at least half a dozen defected items which isn't good enough especially when I was having the kitchen fitted on a weekend and the branch was closed. They did replace the damaged items with no problem however this was an inconvenience.
