From an out of town carpenter working…

From an out of town carpenter working in Hoddesdon I found the staff at the Hoddesdon howdens absolutely fabulous, the lady on the desk Charlotte was so helpful and the manager Dan couldn't do enough. I highly recommend this branch and will be back again.

Exemplary customer service received

Hi had a few issues with a kitchen I bought recently. I spoke to the manager Dan who managed to rectify the situation very quickly. Overcharged for basic bits I could have…

Overcharged for basic bits I could have got from screwfix. Deliberately secretive about the price. And not the first time it’s happened at that branch. Brimsdown is much better in my opinion.

Brought 2 wardrobe kits with drawers…

Brought 2 wardrobe kits with drawers and the hanging rail kit. The wardrobe frame’s are very flimsy once a assembled and should come with backs to make them more rigid, also some of the pilot indents for the draws where missing, so I had to take measurements from the two that where there to fit. Draws are very simple to put together once I had been online for instructions as there was none supplied. As for the hanging rail kit would have been cheaper if I had have bought the bits separately from B&Q. After some tinkering and once they were fitted to the walls and hanging rail was fitted they didn’t look too bad. Overall they are overpriced but can do the job
