Availability of stock and speed of delivery is unmatched across kitchen suppliers. The ability to get kitchens basically sameday is incredible when you think of the lead time of other suppliers. Pricing is also great. They are the only supplier to offer an off white j pull handle which I cant understand why other suppliers have stopped doing. The only real downside is the quality of the construction of their rigid carcasses. Compared to the likes of Wren etc they are falling short. Not necessarily a problem for the end user and most of these issues just make installation take longer than with comparible kitchens. Free coffee in store and most stores I visit staff are friendly and approachable

Very poor service from the start

Unfortunately have had nothing but extremely poor service from Howdens Kenley from the start of our project. After finalising a design that was massively delayed by staff turnover, lack of experience and incorrectly measuring the project space leading to multiple iterations and weeks of back forth with delays in communication. After the design was finally finalised Howdens then informed us that the agreed design was then at a much higher price point, having never been mentioned at any point prior to that. After that Howdens then said we had to order within a certain date to obtain the best price, but could not tell us what the price would be. It seems they only said this to hit some target internally. After all design issues Howdens then still asked us for measurements, despite them having carried out the measurements themselves. This further added costly delays to the project due to more back and forth with the building team doing the week. When the kitchen was delivered there were numerous items that were either damaged or incorrect altogether, to date Howdens have repeatedly ignored our communication attempts to resolve the issues at hand. On multiple occasions when we called the Kenley branch we would be told we'd be called right back only for days/weeks to go with no response again. The poor service from Howdens Kenley has caused our project to be significantly delayed and cost more than it should have.
