We’ve used the Scarborough Howdens…

We’ve used the Scarborough Howdens branch for a lot of our joinery projects at Jack Parke Joinery and the service is always spot on. The team are friendly, knowledgeable and always quick to help with orders, designs and any last-minute bits we need on site. Everything is well organised and they make the whole process easy when you’re working to tight deadlines. Highly recommend them to any trades or anyone doing a kitchen project. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great job done by all

Mark Jackson the designer did a superb job and Lee, the fitter and his team were all excellent and completed the job carefully and on time. We have no hesitation in recommending Howdens to everyone. Unlike other kitchen companies, if something is not quite right it can be sorted out immediately without having to wait ages for parts and fitters to be free - a real bonus. Many thanks to all.

Howdens First Class.

We had our new kitchen from Howdens.The design was done by Mark Jackson and the fitting done by Lee Drydale. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the finished job is outstanding.Would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Quality kitchen, poor customer service

The kitchen itself is of good quality, with only a few missing parts that we were able to just sort from bits in the van instead of going back to the store. However, Howdens Scarborough used a third party to deliver the kitchen and had next to no interest in dealing with our issues afterwards. Delivery was complete by 1 person who was unable to get the larger appliances into the house leaving them outside and unsecured until I got home. Howdens then tried to bill £150 for delivery which was never mentioned to us before hand (which was quickly waived once we brought it up) However, during delivery our driveway was visibly damaged. I contacted howdens scarborough, howdens customer service and the delivery driver and no one cared to assist in the matter. The delivery driver lied about organising a builder and the site manager to arrive 2 weeks from booking, but when the day came no one came or knew about it. After weeks of contact I managed to get a meeting with a builder and local manager, the builder provided was very fair and agreed with my statements regarding the drive. The delivery company then offered to pay half of the bill (accepting accountability in my eyes) but the bill was double my quote… I asked if he would provide me the finances for half his builders invoice and I would get the drive repaired and he refused… Overall The quality of product from howdens is good, and my driveway is a rare fluke. But the level of care and follow up is poor if you have a non standard issue.
