We've bought new cupboards to extend…

We've bought new cupboards to extend our original Howdens kitchen and new doors to unify everything. We've also bought new appliances. Everything was easy to order and arrived the next day. Simon at Sunderland was excellent to work with. The quality of the units are really good and the fact that they are already assembled is a bonus

Poor quality, bad customer service. AVOID.

Avoid this company if you want a high quality kitchen. After purchasing kitchen through Sunderland store, the items delivered were shockingly bad. The carcass comes as standard with chips on both the shelves and around numerous pilot holes. After complaining about the poor quality I was informed this is how they sell products and they are all chipped - at no point during the sale process was I told their products come with chips as standard and that this is the companies accepted level of quality. Their solution was to stick a load of white stickers over every chip, with stickers that are a different colour to the internal material. Quite simply, poor products and poor customer service. They've now refused to deal with complaint direct with me, stating it must go via tradesman despite the fact they've dealt with me only from design, order and delivery as well as taking payment direct from me.
