Extremely poor service, communication, and fulfilment – £12k kitchen, zero care

I’ve never had an experience like this. We were pressured to place our order in October to meet the price offered to us during the sales period, receiving multiple calls and being told payment needed to be made by midday. We scrabbled to pull the funds together in time and paid. After Howdens Watford took our money, the communication stopped. We called daily and were repeatedly told someone would call back, no one ever did. For over a month there was no delivery and no measuring of our kitchen to confirm it would even fit. Our kitchen designer stopped replying to calls and emails once payment cleared. After weeks of chasing, we were then told our kitchen designer was no longer handling the design or build. Even though they had taken the measurements a month before. Once the kitchen was finally delivered after weeks of chasing and paying for storage, the washing machine we were promised was missing, despite confirmation that it was included in the paid-for order. For a kitchen costing over £10,000+, this level of service is unacceptable. Poor communication, broken promises, and missing items. I would not recommend.(Order placed Oct; branch: Howdens Watford. Great customer service

I and a new homeowner who has a Howdens kitchen in my new home. The kitchen was installed over ten years ago and the bins needed replacing. I popped into see the team to arrange some replacements (without having an account) and they (Carl etc) were great - helping me find the right product and processing this for me. I also observed how well the team helped other customers and just wanted to acknowledge that. Thanks!

Excellent Customer Service

Having had a number of errors occur at another store, the staff at Watford Howdens -specifically Reece - absolutely saved the day. They were quick to respond, helped me work out what needed to be corrected and ensured my fitter had everything needed to complete the job on time. I couldn't be more grateful for the excellent service and level of care provided. Thank you Reece and Howdens Watford

Brilliant Service and Kitchen Quality

I've been dealing with Watford branch, Barry in particular who has been nothing but a superstar and a good communicator. I'm very much into the details and despite making several design changes along the way, he remained patient and gave me a very good deal. The kitchen installation is almost complete and we love it. I was so pleased I've purchased some fitted wardrobes too! I would highly recommend Howdens, both for kitchen quality and specifically Watford branch for their customer service. Thanks again

Howdens joinery tolpits lane the place to be Forget other kitchen company’s move down to Howdens the place to be at. In life if ever you have a problem you need only one body to deal with it and thats Howdens joinery. Always stocked up, beautifully designed kitchens by Chandon sorted in a day to the millimetre, need a part no worries sorted in minutes. Staff all work like an F1 team they are on it. Mark the manager this guys is everywhere on the desk, counter, warehouse but always giving helpful advice and closing the deal wow the guys out of this world. Carl served me today the guys quick and so organised in his method of workings what an asset to the company. Tarnya is a fantastic kitchen designer with unlimited time for your project and extremely motivated so you leave a happy customer. Love this place and it honestly makes my life as a builder so simple which makes me look better. Easy work! Thank you to all. Don Ford Ruislip.
