Howdens reviews

I’ve been using Howdens for years for kitchens in rental properties. Recently for my own dream kitchen, I wanted something of great quality and super luxurious. The in-branch designer came up with a stunning design and suggested some new features, challenging me to think beyond a traditional layout. I’m so pleased with the end result and I’m very happy to offer a recommendation.

We use Howdens because they have everything in stock when we want it and can give us delivery slots to fit in with us. We have more refurbishments lined up for this year and Howdens will be our first choice. Their kitchen designer understands our needs and Howdens products are flexible enough to produce a good design in even the most difficult spaces.

The staff at my local branch were absolutely brilliant with both the design and supply of my kitchen. They are professional, personable and have great knowledge of the products on offer. Delivery was prompt and efficient and they are always available for any queries. The high level of skill and service throughout the process was very much appreciated.

We have updated our kitchen with the Hockley Super Matt units and quartz counters. It was incredibly good value for money and looks fantastic. Our local Howdens branch could not have been more friendly and helpful with all stages. Minor changes on my part were amended speedily and without question. I really can’t fault their service or products.

I found the designers and counter staff very helpful, and the manager took an interest to ensure that everything was explained and gave very good professional advice. The quality of the units was first class, and the pre-assembled parts saved labour hours. Because Howdens held stock in the local warehouse and made their own units they were able to supply out of stock items within days.

I purchased a kitchen, appliances, and flooring from Howdens. It’s the second kitchen in 10 years I have bought from them, and I can highly recommend them. From planning, purchasing, delivery, and fitting, everything went smoothly and without any hitches. I used their recommended kitchen fitter, and I am so pleased with the quality and the look of the kitchen. Howdens if I replace this in ten years’ time I will be back.

We went to a couple of kitchen stores before being recommended Howdens and I have to admit the service and quality we found to be excellent from the first phone call. I dealt with the branch from the initial enquiry through to the home design visit and finally the delivery and installation. I’ve never dealt with Howdens before, so this is a truly honest review of a great company. I can’t fault anything at all about the service I received.

We now have a wonderful kitchen with Lamona appliances and cabinets supplied by Howdens. We liked the ability to appoint a trusted contractor and discuss the layout with Howdens’ designer. The units were delivered in a timely manner and neatly placed in our garage ready for installation. Everything was completed in time for Advent and Christmas preparations. We have found the layout creates a good working space.

If you ever want your faith restored in amazing customer service, I literally cannot fault the experience I have had with Howdens. To be able to speak to real people, to come and inspect the kitchen and find a solution to any issues, without having to argue, has made me a Howdens customer for life!

From our initial interaction, we never felt isolated and our designer was always there to answer any ongoing queries or changes. We were able to spend time with the designer's CAD system seeing the final vision on screen in a very relaxed and consultative environment. Furthermore the branch were always there to help.

I had a good experience at the St Anne’s branch. When I found a cheaper kitchen Howdens kept their word and price matched. Any missing items the order were promptly delivered by hand once notified. I’m happy with the quality in relation to the price range. All in all, a good experience. Would recommend and buy again.

The Howdens designer arrived at our home and seemed to fully understand the style and functions of our visions. With a few minor tweaks we had the designs finalised. The fitter of the resin quartz worktops offer to make a fit a windowsill from the offcuts, and make a shelf. The final effect looks fantastic, my wife and I are delighted and would happily recommend Howdens.
