Special offer shortages

I visited your Fort William store to buy most of the screws in your special offer and found there were significant shortages so I will need to do another 80 mile round trip to collect the missing boxes. Apart from the fact that I needed to use the screws this week this journey will cost me most of the money I saved on the offer.

Sub standard products and poor customer care

Unfortunately in less than 6 months of the installation of a new sink the composite coating appears to be chipping in more than one place, a staff member came to my home to inspect the sink, the whole experiance was very uncomfortable and it was clear from the moment he walked in that the 25 year guarantee was not worth the paper it was written on. We will not be replacing our kitchen with howdens as planned after this. Sub standard quality products.

Poor quality products with a guarantee thats not worth the paper its written on. Avoid. If anything is wrong they have prehearsed nonsense to avoid all replacements and guarantess etc. Strongly advise you look elsewhere.

Excellent doors.

Everything went really smooth ordered and delivered on time, Charles was on the ball with everything. All doors arrived and no damage. 11 fire doors unfinished so used Osmo door oil as recommended. The door instructions advise to treat doors before installing. You have to consider the drying time for the Osmo door oil when you have lots of doors to do. We had 2 glass fire doors fitted as well. They come pre-finished look really smart, huge improvement on the glass wire fire doors. All doors have to be fitted with the intumescent fire/smoke strips lots of dust. Overall 5 star for Howdens and our joiner
